Moritz, Anton
(1885, Wels/Austria - 1976, Wels/Austria)
A schoolmate in Georg's grade school starting from 1897, who handed down some of his discussions and experiences with Trakl. Like with Erhard Buschbeck, Franz Schwab and Karl Minnich, Trakl's contact with Moritz continued also in his Viennese study and military time from 1908-11, where Moritz lingered from time to time and studied law. Trakl's postcards to Moritz from Attersee from 1910 
and 1911 are preserved:
In the first he ridicules the apparently health-conscious friend, while in the second he puts him off on account of borrowed money. Afterwards the contact seems to have drifted off.
